Ann's Comments: “Sky, lush foliage and animals (in this case zebras and one ‘zebe’) are constants in a trip through the jungle but the eye can play tricks and cause one to imagine many things. In this piece, the ‘spots’ represent whatever the viewer wants to see, along with perhaps some surprises, in this imaginary excursion.

Since this is a mother (Helen) and daughter (Ann) project, the quilt itself has probably traveled farther than our imaginary trip in the jungle.”

Additional comments:
Ann’s mother lives in Ohio.
