Jane's Comments: “From her collection of quilts, Ann selected this one for me. She knew me well because I was immediately absorbed by it.

I suspect the hand painted fabric inspired her to develop the theme. She just let it guide her and I am her lucky cousin that it draws a smile from each day.

Many of the cotton fabrics have been enhanced by hand applied paint splashed in random fashion. Gold
metallic stitching runs free with abandon, twisting and turning throughout the fabric patterns. Long droplets of tropical strips line the quilt in vertical folds.

It is a wild happening as the confetti of colors and patterns dance and play together. It is a celebration of a sensitive, wild habitat. It is mysterious, magical and alive. May it last forever.”
