Ann's Comments (1994): Reds and bilious greens are among my favorite colors, so I enjoyed working with all the different ones on this quilt. A change of scale was the other variable I explored.
Due to workspace limitations, I constructed the diagonal strips one at a time, without being able to see them next to each other until they were pretty much finished.
Red is my favorite color my fabric collection confirms that and working with the complimentary colors red and green is very natural for me. In fact, its so easy to fall back on that combination that a conscious effort is required to include other hues.
